Steinhatchee, Florida

Yesterday we finally made our way to the gulf coast. It was about an hour and twenty minute drive. We rode through the town of Steinhatchee, a cute little fishing community right on the Steinhatchee River. We all agreed it would be a great place to own a vacation home. 

Just north of Steinhatchee is Havens Cove Park. The tide was low, and the sand was covered with tiny little crabs called Fiddler crabs. They were so cute! We had so much fun following them and watching them run into the holes they dug in the sand. 

Can't wait to go back to the coast!
