Abandoned
I love photos of abandoned buildings and structures. This little shack is on the way from our house to the main road, so I see it all the time. This morning I got to see it in morning light, and it was amazing.

Anderson Spring
I had some time to myself yesterday so I took a ride to Anderson Spring, which is a little west of us. This spring is different than the others - the opening of the spring is under the Suwannee River. There are videos on line that show there are caves under the water, but you would have to dive to see them. Definitely not one that would be good for swimming, in my opinion.
It looks like this spring is not visited often - the surrounding area is kind of wild and not maintained. Maybe it is in the summer. This area would be perfect for canoeing or kayaking.
Here are some photos...

Steinhatchee, Florida
Yesterday we finally made our way to the gulf coast. It was about an hour and twenty minute drive. We rode through the town of Steinhatchee, a cute little fishing community right on the Steinhatchee River. We all agreed it would be a great place to own a vacation home.
Just north of Steinhatchee is Havens Cove Park. The tide was low, and the sand was covered with tiny little crabs called Fiddler crabs. They were so cute! We had so much fun following them and watching them run into the holes they dug in the sand.
RD Ranch
some photos of our Ranch...you may have seen these on Facebook already, but I wanted to make a new start on the blog. Enjoy!
